Here you will find a wide varity of repair services we offer.
While most of the repairs we do will deal with the transmission, in this field, an engine related issues can cause your transmission to act up. Below is a brief summary of the stages we follow to diagnose your transmission.

01
ENGINE REPAIRS
First step when we diagnose a vehicle is to make sure that the engine is performing how is should. If a engine is not givng the full power to the transmission; such as it has an engine miss or timing is off then transmission will not perform to its peak.
02
ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS
Second, if you did all the troubleshooting and you determined that the engine is performing at its peak, then the next step is to look at the electrical wiring to insure that there is not a bare or bad wire anywhere causing your transmission to act up; even a bad solenoid in the transmissio. Generall you will need flow charts or a tester to achieve this step.
03
MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
Once you have determined that your engine is performing and their is no electrical short, the final step is to manually drive it and check to see if the internal gears are commanding properly. Majority of the time you will drive it with a scanner to watch the ratio levels to determine if the computer is commanding it and that the transmission is responding to the command.
04
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Automatic transmission are 50/50; electrical shorts or mechanical failure. Now and days its a lot easier for a transmission to go out to the fact that the computer can give it a false command and apply the wrong gear. Automatic transmission all vary on repairs on what it takes to repair it.
05
STANDARD TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH REPAIR
Standard Transmissions are much easier to diagnose. Most standards will get stuck in gear, start making noise or will go out completely. Clutches operate when you disengage it and reengage. Clutches typically go out becaues of wear and tear. You can tell when a clutch starts going out when it is hard to put into gear, pedal is going to the floor more and more, or the clutch starts making noise.
